The Gladstone BESS is GCGF’s flagship utility-scale storage project, strategically located in the Port of Gladstone, Queensland—one of Australia's most important industrial and export hubs. This project is designed to enhance grid stability, support the decarbonisation of industrial operations, and unlock higher renewable energy penetration in the region. It will provide time-shifting capacity, peak shaving, and ancillary services to the National Electricity Market (NEM), while facilitating the growth of port-side clean industries.
